Our office has opened effective June 2nd, 2020. We are looking forward to being back and seeing all of our patients. We would like to let you know that we are prepared and taking every measure possible to ensure your safety. Our goal is to exceed the standards suggested by the CDC and other governmental agencies to provide the safest environment for our patients, staff, and families.
We have taken every measure to ensure that everyone is safe.
- heightened infection control including advanced disinfection of the rooms as well as the entire office
- hospital-grade HEPA filters
- special suction devices to reduce aerosols
- “fogging” of all areas with environmental safe high-level disinfectants
- plexiglass barrier for the reception area
- reduction of touchpoints
- paperless communication
- universal precautions for the welfare of our patients
- minimal or non-contact with other patients
During the new normal with Covid-19, we ask our patients and families for the following considerations:
Before Your Appointment:
To ensure that patients arriving are healthy, our office will call you before your appointment to review your current health. You will be asked to fill out a form repeating these questions to make sure nothing has changed. This form may be emailed prior to your appointment. Please limit the number of family members attending appointments. If you require an escort please have them drop you off and we will contact them when you can be picked up.
At Your Appointment:
As soon as you arrive at our office, please call us. You will be asked to wait in the car and we will call you in as soon as we are ready for you. Additionally please be sure to wear a mask while inside the office. When you enter you will be asked to use the hand sanitizer, update your patient info, and have your temperature taken.
After Your Appointment:
You will be escorted to the front desk very briefly for any additional information and/or arrangements. Some of your post-treatment visits will now be done in the convenience of your home with Teledentistry or by phone. This is an easy to use system, where you use your computer or mobile device to show the treated area and have any questions you may have answered.
Thank you for your continued confidence and trust in our office. As always we will strive to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
We hope you haven’t been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 event, but if you have, please reach out to us at 973-728-3779 to discuss specific concerns or issues you may have.
